No, the issue down here is a lack of mechanics and long waits - it's not with my main guy either as he has had a hernia and off-work for a month.....
I wish I still had the energy to Hoover every day. Though I get the handheld out several times a week to remove the ever present layer of cat down on the sofa.
When I got Sally, my old lurcher, I was told she would hardly shed. She shed more than my semi long haired white cat. It's the joy of having pets...the constant presence of fur on your clothes and up your nose ;)

He's a gorgeous dog and my sister/OH rescued him from Spain where a farmer had him tied up in a barn - and then went to have him put down, age two. Apparently, and he still has, an uncontrollable urge for chasing birds - not good for a gundog, The local vet refused to do it and, given his awful condition, steered him to their version of the RSPCA and then onto this outfit that specialises in setter placement. English Setters are more popular out there than here. I don't think I have a pic of him......the dog with his animal passport now has more rights to be in the EEC than his owners!
