Blepharitis

i recently found out i have this and was recommended by optician to use blephasol morning and evening for three months, plus hycosan eye drops 3 times a day. These are both OTC preparations.
The problem i have is the hycosan comes in a stupid bottle where u have to press the bottom at the same time as holding it over your eye to dispense the drops. My hand disability means i can do this. Is there anything else i coulduse that mirrors hycosan but that comes in a better bottle?

I use a heatable eye-pad: 20 secs in microwave and 5 mins on eyes.
30 seconds massage of eyelids followed by wiping the lash-area with make-up removal pads. I used to use expensive wipes bought from the opticians but found that the make-up removal pads are just as effective and far, far cheaper.

I have also had this in the past. I used cotton pads in very hot water and a drop of baby shampoo to clean along the edges of my eyelids. Consultant recommended massaging top and bottom eyelids towards the edges, whilst in the shower. This should stop the ducts becoming blocked. I still do the massage thingy and haven't a problem for years. Apparently you can be more prone to it if you have oily skin.
I find this sort much easier to use but they work out more expensive. This particular one is resealable and each should last about a day.

I have to use one prescription only eye drop that comes in a very stubby bottle made from thick plastic. The base is very close to the shoulder making it very difficult to squeeze. I have complained.
