My normal logos ie Start ,Mozilla Firefox etc on the left of screen sound level clock etc at bottom right of screen have suddenly moved to corresponding position on top right of screen at i. Have tried to drag them down into correct positions but although they move down they wont stay down Any advice great appreciated as this is causing me problems. Thank you
Right click on a blank bit of the task bar and untick "lock the task bar" then drag the task bar where you want it and right click again and tick "lock the task bar". That should but it back and lock it there.

^^^ That moves it left or right, TTT, (as does my link above) but it doesn't mention moving from top to bottom. (My link seems to suggest that it's not even possible in Windows 11, so I really hope that Irban isn't using W11!)
it does say at the bottome of my link:
"In Windows 10, it was quite easy to move the entire taskbar to a different location on your screen. Windows 11 opts for keeping it at the bottom, with the option to move the alignment of the taskbar instead." - so I don't think it can be at the top in W11, so I suspect that irban is using W10 so my instructions at 18:33 should be the way to go.
irban can you get back and let us know if you sorted it, thanks.
I don't know whether you managed to get the taskbar(contains your icons of clock/sound/start and browsers) back to the bottom of your screen irban. But if not, as TTT, said right click in the dark area between the icons. A menu pops up or probably down from a top sited task bar. It will give a list of options. You will probably have lock task bar and show Task view button ticked. If however you click on the cog wheel that says task bar settings then another menu appears from your main settings catalogue. In there is a box that offers the choice of positions for the task bar under the heading "Task bar location on screen". Yours is probably saying Top right now. Use the v facility, located in the grey oblong box, to give a list of options and choose Bottom. Ensure that the Lock the task bar toggle is engaged or it may move back to the top after upgrades or reboots.
