What Is A Non-Man?

In an effort to include non-binary people in its definition of a lesbian, the US based John Hopkins University School of Medicine now declares a lesbian to be a non-man and someone who is attracted to non-men.

J K Rowling took to Twitter to criticise the university saying, 'Man: no definition needed. Non-man (formerly known as woman): a being definable only by reference to the male.'

What do you make of this - and what, I wonder, do lesbians make of it?

When I first read about this, I was so apoplectic that I found it difficult to actually form coherent sentences.

Hopefully, someone sensible has now removed this definition from whichever publication in which it appeared.
