We had torrential rain last night. Garden definitely needed it but my lovely lupins and been flattened. Job for today, if it stays dry, is to cut them down and hope some may spring back to life.

Our village show is 20th-ish August. My lovely lupins last year had all but vanished by July (similar sort of storm). I cut them back & had enough lovely spikes to win a 3rd prize! :)
Give them a 'Chelsea chop' for another flush of slightly smaller flowers in about five to six week's
