For me, gone are the days of struggling with a pizza cutting wheel. I'm not the strongest of people - a wuss if truth be known - who, having failed hopelessly with the wheel, invariably ended up taking a knife to pizzas and still managing to maul the edges of slices into a jagged mess. But no more! Pizza scissors! What an excellent invention!

Got that, and a soup maker
Ninja 15-1
Ninja dual air fryer

All great gadgets
A £1 (£2 this year) telescopic fly swat, I have one in every room.
I like my can opener that opens the seal rather than cutting a sharp edge.
My favourite is my one cup boiler, no need to struggle lifting a kettle, saves energy, and it's really quick. It was a gift from a friend and I love it as it's so much safer as my grip can fail. Not good with a hot kettle

I believe the Yanks just use their microwave.
Love my microwave egg poacher. Takes 50 seconds for two perfectly poached eggs. Cost £1 from Home Bargains.
I keep exploding the eggs in mine, however I love my silicone poaching pods that you use in a saucepan.... And toaster pockets from Poundland for easy toasted sandwiches
Not really a gadget, but I love silicon bakeware. Absolutely no mess. I just wish it was available in shops as opposed to just Amazon.
Maggie, I’ve bought, and thrown away, two different microwave egg poachers. When the yolk was perfect, the white was still sloppy, and when the white was cooked properly the yolk was hard. I’d love to know your secret for getting a perfect egg in 50 seconds.
You don't need to buy a gadget to poach eggs in the microwave. You must pierce the yolk

Do you poach eggs like that Barry? I’m afraid I’m very sceptical so I’d be keen to know if you’ve done them successfully like that. I do love a poached egg.
I think lankeela had a good experience with her egg poacher...but I don't recall if it was a microwave one.
I poach eggs the proper on a pan of water. I have tried them on the microwave and they were okay
I love my breadmaker and spice grinder.
