Me too. Today I got an email from the Omaze £3million House Prize Draw to say that I had won........................................a £10 gift voucher.
Oh well, there's always next time!
I would like to get my teeth whitened but not sure of the best way to go about it - don't want the Omo brightness like some celebs have, just a couple of shades less yellow than they are now.
Blimey Barsel, doesn't give you much confidence does it?!
I get the feeling Dentist didn't want to talk about it. Soon shut me down.
How come a lot if celebrities have it done? Money I guess..
I have a NHS Dentist, perhaps that's the difference.
Needed a filling replaced and asked my dentist for a white one rather than the silver that came out. She was quite happy to do it but apparently not on the NHS. Cost a bit but happy with the result.
Glad you're happy with it, Maggie. Did she say they're not as strong as the silver ones?
Patsy33 - no, that was never mentioned. If I need another silver filling replaced I will go for white again and keep my fingers crossed.
Are we gonna get a new avatar, Bobbi, showing us your new sparkly pearlies? :0)
I used to have the white caps/crowns/inlays/fillings. Recently took my dentist's advice that the metal type is stronger and so a molar or two have those now. Not as pretty though.
In the not too distant future, I've been told I'll probably need a couple of crowns each side at the back, which are white. So that will at least look better than old silver fillings! Then a couple more have 'pockets' which can reach down into the nerve. So a couple of root canals is on the cards too... Sigh...Fed up with my ***** teeth! :-)
