last night I had a dream I was having an epilespy fit. I was aware I was having the dream. But the trouble is. I don't know if it was a dream or not. I don't know if I woke up or came round after having a fit. What does a fit feel like?

do u suffer from epliepsy then? if u don't know what a fit is perhaps not, what would have brought it on? get to your doc if u are worried, it's not something you can just ask a Q about and then carry on with your life.
perhaps you had a panic attack?? they are pretty commen in this day and age??

I suffer from a condition called sleep paralysis, have done for many years. It has presented itself in the way you describe on a number of occasions. I seem to get it more during times of stress, or if Im really exhausted. Its a frightening experience but I have learned to deal with it now. Google 'sleep paralysis' and check if you have had any of the other experiences described.

If you had an epileptic seizure, its most likely you would have lost control of your bladder also.
i have epilepsy and depends on the type of seizure but a general tonic clonic (grande mal) seizure u might have aching joints feel sick and have a headache and feel more tired than usual
