//Retired US Navy commander David Fravor …. recounted his encounter with a "tic-tac" shaped UAP in 2004 that moved in a way that baffled aviators, footage of which was released in 2017 and publicly verified by the US Navy two years later.

"The technology that we faced was far superior than anything that we had, have today, or are looking to develop in the next 10+ years," Mr Fravor said.

David Grusch, an ex-Air Force intelligence officer, hinted that government officials had suppressed information and punished whistleblowers, but claimed he could not elaborate further in public due to classification laws.

In one notable exchange, Nancy Mace, a South Carolina Republican, asked Mr Grusch elaborate on what he knew about non-terrestrial bodies.

She asked him if "biologics" were recovered from any crafts retrieved by the government.
Referencing his previous media interviews, Mr Grusch responded that "biologics came with some of these recoveries".

Were they human or non-human? Ms Mace asked.

"Non-human, and that was the assessment of people with direct knowledge on the programme I talked to," Mr Grusch responded. During a different line of questioning, he confirmed he had never personally seen an alien body.//

// ClareTG0ld, do you want me to remove TTT's post? Since it's quite a long one and instrumental to this on-going discussion I'd rather not.... //

I'd otherwise agree with that, but given that TTT's reposted since there's no harm in removing the earlier post.

// TTT, best refer to ClareTG0ld as ClareTG0ld in all instances in the future. //

Nah, CTG is fine.
I do have books by other authors on the subject like Colin Wilson, Timothy Good... one of my all time favourite quotes.

“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.”
― Arthur C. Clarke

I've got quite a selection, Arksided, but when I first read Chariots of the Gods I was quite religious and pretty much outraged by what I was reading, so I decided to check his every reference to the bible because I was convinced he was wrong. He wasn't.
Question Author
By the way, at that time I'd never read the whole of the bible. I have now - and he's still not wrong.
I wonder what is actually in 'The book of Eli' removed from the Bible.
don't tell me, Arksided, that the Ab Editor has got around to censoring the Bible.....time to take on the Koran perhaps?
Question Author
Yes I did, obviously thinking of the film.
Question Author
If memory serves (and it might be a bit rusty), it contains an account of Enoch being taken up bodily into heaven. The watchers were warned to keep away but didn't and all ended up dead.
Interesting 'Ark of the covenant' well Raiders of the lost Ark.

Raised as RC I went to a RC Grammar school (Yes I did believe it or not) and were expected to read the New Testament I finished it but remember very little.
Question Author
The Ark of the Covenant is reputed to exist still - guarded in a church in Ethiopia.

For this subject the Old Testament is more important. That's where the suspected ancient aliens and their UFOs lurk.

Most notably. if you want to cast your eye over it, read Ezekiel 1 from verse 4 which says // I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north—an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The centre of the fire looked like glowing metal, //

A Nasa engineer, Josef F. Blumrich, determined to trash the theory that Ezekiel was describing a flying craft - but ended up confirming that, in his opinion, that was exactly what was being described. Fascinating stuff.
Returning from the shops I'm wondering if we're not doing what believers do, cherry picking the bible stuff needed to back up a point while ignoring any other 'off message' writings as too fantastic to be believed.

I await the fighter squadron coming to shoot me down. :-)
Question Author
It's a valid point, and I won't be shooting you down, douglas. I would like more people to join these discussions.
I still have copy of the New Testament and psalms on my bookcase only small hiding on top of other books given to me when I started there in 1985.

'Ancient Aliens' is on Blaze channel now until Eight I'm sure I've seen them all.
"Our Lady of Fatima" apparitions were quite extraordinary, and are much more recent and interesting than Ezekiel.

Sounds very ufo-ish to me.
Question Author
That one was extraordinary, atheist. I’ve never had an explanation for it.
Question Author
I’ve seen a couple of those programmes but I don’t watch them much, Arksided.
‘ I won't be shooting you down, douglas’

Lucky escape there, Dougie!
