Good Sunday morning birdies xx spent most of yesterday up a ladder painting..so well pooped... and it is still raining cats and dogs after a very short reprieve yesterday morning.. new vertical blind slats to put up in guest bedroom today...unless any better offers come my way.. it's working above head height and is a pain to do... been putting it off for several weeks, but guests arriving on Friday so best get on with it..have a great day wherever you are and whatever you may be doing !

Morning all. Beautiful day here so far, sun is shining and my plums are changing from green to red. Yum yum.

The sun is shining at last so we’re taking a trip to Beamish with the family , it’s not very far from here , it’s a museum dedicated to the NE way of life over the last couple of hundred years,it’s on a large swathe of land and has a full street , a tram, a school, shops with sweets in jars, a Coop , even a little pub with with prices set at war time prices ( only its not ) a butchers, a dentist and a large Manor House , they’ve built a new 50s street since last I was there so looking forward to seeing that.
