Ryan Moore has 6 rides on day 1 of York's Ebor meeting, which begins today.
His 6 rides all have varying chances of a win and the bet may well rest on the performance of Paddington in the 3.35. It is odds-on to beat 3 rivals, and many, including myself, do not see it being beaten. Indeed, had the offer been evens for Paddington to win, i would have been on. Paddington's main rival in the 3.35 is the 5 yo Mostahdaf (Gosden/Dettori) who is no mug, but i don't believe it capable of conceding the weight to Moore's mount.
As i see it, should the unthinkable happen and Paddington's winning run (7 wins on the spin - last 4 all Gp 1)) come to an end, his next best chance of a win comes in the last where he rides Starlust for the very much in-form Ralph Becket stable.

I've put Paddington (to win by at least 2 lengths) @ 13/8 in a free £2 acca with Sky, along with Gregory, Ballymount Boy and Starlust. Poss returns = £163.

Thanks Ken. I just wish I hadn't wasted three pounds on Paddington. More of a donkey than a bear.

Quite a confident ride from Frankie, Hoppy. Rode the top weight as if defeat was out of the question. When you see him riding like that, you wonder about his decision to hang his saddle up at the end of the season?
'The bear' found it's elders a tad too good on the day.
