Ads for Total AdBlock occur all over the place (including here on AB). Although it's advertised as a free download, it's actually a paid-for service. (So you'll be asked to subscribe to get it to function fully).
There are plenty of other browser extensions which can do exactly the same for free. Even better though, there's a super-fast browser (that's effectively a far better version of Chrome) which comes with an ad-blocker built in. (You can disable it though on sites which require you to leave ads turned on in order for you to view their content). It's my own choice of web browser:
