Can anyone help me with parsing the following? I have the solutions (I think), but I have been puzzling over the parsing for days!

7 Calculate that this shortly might be represented by V & A? (7,2). I have "Average up".

11 Dismiss evolving figure of speech, not English piece (5,3). I have "Shrug off".

15 Exterior not in good condition to paint over (7). I have "Outward".

Any help would be much appreciated.

Many thanks.

11 Take ' e piece', English piece, out of Figure of speech' and anagram it (evolving).

Thanks NAC. I see it now.

Scorpiojo - thanks, but the link doesn't take me to any parsing that I can see - can you copy it to me please?

Many thanks.

Thank you Sam1960. I've checked out the link. I've looked at 7 again and I can see it now. But 15 is still a bit of a mystery to me: "outward" = exterior (def) and "paint over" is "draw" backwards, but where does the "good condition" part of the clue come in? I'm baffled! Please can you explain? I can go to sleep happy then.
out = 'not in good condition' (in Chambers it's ''not in form or good condition''). You've got the rest of it.

Thanks so much, Prof Maisie - I didn't see that. All finished now.
