My pilot light is weak from the oil residue from the 12 foot hose. after 20 min the pilot light goes off by itself and sometimes doesn't light at all. The rubbing alcohol and q-tip trick only temporarily relieve the problem.

I used an 18v Ryobi Power Inflator to blow in the orifice, but I probably need canned air .

Have you sprayed brake cleaner in the pilot light orifice of the mr heater buddy?
