Fave U2 track

Just listening to All I Want Is You... possibly The Edge's finest moment, and have now decided that this particular track has overtaken Bad, One and Sunday Bloody Sunday to become my favourite U2 track.

I think my all time fave is them performing Bad at live aid.I also love Still Havent Found, and Mothers of the Disappeared gives me goose bumps.

I disagree with Lodekka, I think The Joshua Tree is the best album they have ever made.

I agree re the Joshua Tree....utterly brilliant IMHO (tho I like most of what they've done since). I love every track on it, but All I Want Is You is my absolute favourite.

glad you agree kick, only trouble is All I want is You isn't on the Joshua Tree album, it's on Rattle and Hum.

i agree with TEAK as well - Bad at live aid was amazing.

I absolutely LOVE every track on Achtung Baby. Listen to it regularly ever since it came out. STILL one of my favourite albums. One of the few albums you can safely say there isn't one bad track on it. I think Bono was most hunky during that time too. Not that keen on their latest stuff but they still have it in them to pull out a massive single and are obviously doing something right to remain so popular.

I also ove Bullet The Blue Sky, Bass Trap, Dancing Barefoot, Dirty Day, Lemon, Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me, In God's Country, Silver And Gold, Love Comes Tumbling, The Fly and If You Wear That Velvet Dress. My all time favourites (cos there are TOO MANY to choose just one!) are Even Better Than The Real Thing and Zoo Station. When I listen to either of these LOUD, I feel amazing. :)

I can never tell when The Edge is singing though. I think he and BOno sound almost identical.

I absolutely love the fact that there are so many people who do appreciate good music and am amused with the banter on which album was the best.... love them all BUT I'm trying to figure out the "hard rock head" that sits empty among Joshua Tree. Any thoughts?

Edge's voice is slightly softer, I think, although on "Seconds" he does sound exactly like Bono. Best U2 songs? Twilight, New Year's Day, One Tree Hill, The Fly, Numb, Your Blue Room, Discotheque, possibly MOFO, Elevation, Vertigo.

I reckon a couple of those should make everyone else's top 10 too.
