I bet all of you have answered a question wrongly, and thought, I'm glad I wasn't on tv.

Well yes. I've heard of a bloody Mary. Didn't know it referred to a real person.

Of course I have! Thousands of times! Specifically, popular culture after the mid to late 80s. I know nothing about that. Ask me to name the bass player in The Spiders From Mars who joined Uriah Heep and I'm all over it, but Lady Gaga, Ariana Grande, The Weeknd et al and I'm clueless.

Which is why I've never applied to go on a general knowledge quiz show! That's the difference.

I thought there were 7 in a volleyball team counting the Libero.

What are you suspended for now, TTT?

That was quick

Could be a question on The Chase  .. can you answer it without googling?

What does the term Tora Tora Tora mean?

a. An Indian battle call
b. A lightning attack
c. A West End show

One who knows is banned from entering.😢

Question Author

Tiger x 3

Tora - do you not understand the word "banned" - that answer is not one of the three though in some respects tora = tiger.

What a nasty woman , so arrogant , well done Ann

Question Author

moorea7, didn't think I was banned and the the correct answer is not in the list anyway. Tora is Japanese for Tiger.

Tora =tiger but I am looking for correct answer to the Chase question.

Question Author

is that a chase question? Usually the correct answer us one of the three. The answer you are looking for is probably b but even that is wrong. Tora x 3 was the Japanese code for attacking Pearl Harbour but it does not itself mean "lightning attack" .

Lightning attack / strike in Japanese is raigeki.

'The tora of the title, although literally meaning "tiger", is actually an abbreviation of a two-syllable codeword (i.e., totsugeki raigeki 突撃雷撃, "lightning attack"), used to indicate that complete surprise had been achieved.'

Option B was the correct answer.

Tora - you're such a spoil-sport.

Well done Jim and Corby - you'll have to share the money😊
