TTT,
No it isn't. Here is the Express link again.

Togo,
The OP believe (incorrectly) that we had overtaken Germany on GDP, due to the lying headline.
The whole point of this thread was gloating over something that hadn't actually happened.
Even after Boris' lying fest in No.10, it is sad that you are all prepared to defend untruths, disinformation, lying, however you determine it. ☹️
You are making yourself look a right wally gromit. No one is saying the UK gdp is higher than Germany, it actually is greater than France that are also mentioned but that's not what anyone either in the article or on here is talking about. We are talking about the rate in growth of the GDP not the total GDP. You can see that from the words actually used. If they were saying that the GDP is higher they would not have used the word "growth". Stop being obtuse, you ain't really as thick as you are making out.
TTT,
The title of this thread:-
// UK’s GDP Surges Past Both France And Germany’s //
And the Express' headline, are an attempt to deceave. To lie, To peddle disinformation. It took 20 posts of this thread to sepearate a minor better rate of growth from the country GDP figure.
Shockly dishonest, and done on purpose.
//And the first half dozen of posters.//
The op mirrored the headline from his link, and most other linked sites. Non of the first 13 posts mentioned growth or GDP. The 14th did. Guess who it was! You are delusional. Stop making unfounded accusations against honest contributors. Your likes are killing what could be a good site.
//their fantasy that the government is doing well. //
There you go again ... no one is talking about the Government, just you. Again bringing in an unrelated point as a cheap deflection. The whole thread is about the UK economy doing rather well. Despite this fact not going down well with you it remains a fact. In the words of James Carville ... "It’s the economy, stupid."
