Good morning, Birdies. Another stupidly early wake-up for me, coughing for England. Honestly, I'm so drained from coughing.
I've made the OH's sandwiches and I might as well jump on the computer and do some work, since I have zero chance of getting back to sleep.
I start my new job role today but I'm still expecting to get lots of calls for my last job as I am still keeping the same extension number. I've informed switchboard and pretty much anyone I can think who might contact me about the changeover but I imagine few will take notice until they've called and been told the same thing repeatedly... will have to put an autoreply on my emails too.
I've booked tomorrow off and I'll be making a nice, healthy soup and just relaxing and taking it easy.
Does anyone have any nice plans for the coming weekend?
Whatever you're doing, have a super day! π€

we had a good catch up and mainly chatted about our coming holiday like happy schoolgirls as my sil and her neighbour are coming too
I've been to the Canariesa few times in November and the weather has averaged around 25 degrees so it'll be a nice break away from the coldness we have here , I don't mind the dark nights at all here though, I find them rather cosy , I wasn't keen on the dark mornings when I worked though , happily I normally sleep through them now, I'm going to catch up on some emails and phone calls, you know the ones like I must ring so and so , my turn and stuff like that .
is your new job similar to the one you've been doing Lcg ? Obviously a step up though
Very similar but more demanding and so more organisation is required. Despite being told that the job was mine by someone who was on the interview panel actually prior to interview I was still surprisingly nervous.
It's good to catch up on calls, etc. I have one or two people I need to call (quite overdue) and I shouldn't wait until Christmas as it looks like I'm just calling out of duty. It's my nan's birthday on Sunday too.
I've still never been to the Canaries, Bobbi. Must rectify that.
