I believe Abbey mentioned having dyspraxia last year...which would go a long way to explain some of her difficulties

I think everyone is being kind and very responsive - I cannot think of any other ABer that would get so many responses from such inane questions

The majority have been kind Red.  Some haven't.  Abbey obviously has problems with understanding and social behaviour.

I did report a few unkind remarks which were not considered by ed bad enough to remove, That is why I thought it better to close the thread.

Anyway, on it goes :)

But you don't know that for an actual fact Lottie, and anyway most people are trying to be helpful

Margo.  Of course I don't know for a fact and yes most are trying to be helpful.  Just trying to say why this thread shouldn't be closed.

 Ah, fair enough apologies

No need to apologise.  I didn't mean to sound cross. X

Abbey, it might be a good idea to have a Plan B lined up in case the care home can't, or won't, give you enough extra hours. This might mean sticking at Home Bargains a little bit longer, keep some money coming in.

I think it was probably decided on page 1 that the shirt wasn't suitable, but then it changed to asking Abbie about her job and giving her advice.

So, I don't think it's Abbeys' fault that this simple question went to 270 answers.

//Dyspraxia does not affect your intelligence. It can affect your co-ordination skills – such as tasks requiring balance, playing sports or learning to drive a car. Dyspraxia can also affect your fine motor skills, such as writing or using small objects.//

Taken from the NHS

Of course it's not Abbey's fault, Barsel.

I now have a better understanding of her situation and hope it can be resolved at both places of work soon

Red @ 14:50...there's a whole host of adult symptoms.

Sorry they were the headlines I picked up from the NHS

For what it's worth I also agree with  countrywoman (Lottie). I think a firm approach is required to help decision-making.

I have hypermobility spectrum disorder/EDS. This can also be linked to autism and dyspraxia.  Quite a few of us display symptoms.  Fortunately I don't.  I do share the anxiety and depression and admit a degree of OCD.

Thanks for the new name Jourdain. ;0)

I wasn't aware of the link Lottie. It's good to learn these things.

Abbey...thank you for BA.
