Chrome Is Not Responding

I keep getting this on my phone.  I've Googled and it's suggested that I uninstall and then reinstall Chrome to prevent this happening.

I'm concerned that if I do this I will loose my stored passwords and favourites.  Can anyone advise me ( in simple language ) if there is a procedure I can do to prevent this please.   Thank you

You should be logged in to your account with Chrome, which you can see by clicking on the little cog towards the top and scrolling down a bit.

If you do have an account you can safely uninstall and log back in when you have reinstalled it

Yes thanks. Everything is still there. Just have to wait and see if I stop getting that pop up. Thanks again for your help.
