With The Pistols, Mekons, The Damned a band who could really play emerged. I went to see these in the late 70s and was the oldest person in the room even then. The "girlfriend" was mortified when they started playing and I am told by her grandchildren) that she is still in shock. :))
If you were a youngster in the 60s Giggsie I can understand you saying that. The 60s were thrilling for all of the "new breed" called teenagers. I was 16 when this Album was released and blown away. My parents thought I had gone mad spending money on rubbish. We all, again, know the title track but there are some gems of social, religious and political comment on the album. I have come to like this track more as I get older. :))
