For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Chunky is usually knitted on a 5 or 6mm needle and is a thick wool of 10 to 14 ply.Super or double chunky is a heavier weight 14 ply and upwards and and would be knitted on a bigger needle... a size 8mm and upwards for some of what they call big or bulky wools.
Whatever you do don't substitute one for the other as the pattern will not be correct.
