can anyone tell how much a battery for my apple mac power book g4 will cost to replace?

I doubt that you'll be able to get it much cheaper than that second figure but, if you want to check, simply Google 'battery powerbook G4' (without the quotes and ensuring that powerbook is all one word). After all, that's all that I did!
