@elliemay1: thank you! I actually enjoy not solving if I learn something. But abas, as in Arab clothing, is not in my Chambers (admittedly 2014) or Oxford (2007), plus I'm not sure it's specifically women's clothing. So it seems a bit of an imprecise clue.
