Good morning red. Hope you had a fab day yesterday. We were at in-laws, who had made so much food it was insane! She spent most of the time in the kitchen with her 'timetable' all written out of what to do when, like a military operation!! Tbh I didn't eat much at all - just didn't feel like it, but company was good. Came home last night and today it will be just the two of us at home...and some more Xmas tv lol.

Hello everyone, I've been up since goodness when so I'm off back to bed for a while. 

Got one of my loveliest and oldest friends calling me from her hospital bed this morning where she's been since Wednesday, to let me know if they've found out what's wrong with her.  No idea how serious this is but I'm praying I get that call.

I am picking up a 3 month old Doberman pup who had to have an eye removed and driving her to a breed specific rescue where they will rehabilitate her from the dreadful abuse she has suffered.

Hi smow we will be eating leftovers for weeks I don't know why I cooked as much as I did!! Lucky I have the dogs to help out 😂

I'm still fuming after sains  left me high and dry by missing two delivery slots, without any explanation, on the run-up to Christmas. Rant over.

'Morning Red and other birdies😊Boxing Day it is and I am trying to find boxes in which to put all the foodie goodies received as gifts - don't think will need next home delivery! Are you going to  change to Tesco or other after the Sains fiasco Chip? x

Very peaceful.  We were both very tired and a lot of sleeping going on. I think my lovely carer, Mr L, is totally worn out by this awful year.  So we ended up with fish fingers, goujons, crisps and chocolates for Christmas Dinner at 9,00pm. We are now going to celebrate a Russian orthodox Christmas in 2 weeks and son is coming over with the food.

Son and wife have Covid so their Christmas day coastal hike didn't happen!!
