What type of paint do I use to paint the inside of my fireplace which has been plastered ready to house a gas stove?

You can get a special paint for this. I would suggest that you try the local DIY store and ask them for more information on it.

it is very difficult to determine which paint is good for the inside of a fireplace- mostly I am told that only black can be used- I wish there was as name f a cmpany that sells the color othr than black
