Cripes!

Feeling a bit peckish last night, I found a long forgotten packet of microwave pop corn in the back of the kitchen cupboard last night, popped it in the micro for 3 of your earth minutes, opened the bag, and it tasted/smelt like burnt newspaper.

on further inspection it said on the box "best before 2012!!!😶

I'd hazard a guess your best before date was much earlier Chip.

My pantry is humongous Barsel. So many items get lost in there I'm afraid to delve deeply.

I used a seven year out of date jar of sauce the other week. It was fine.

I found some dried herbs in my cupboard that were out of date in 2013. Time for a proper clear out

I briefly worked for a well known food company and they used to have a staff shop where items were half price. The trouble was that some of the items were as much as 10 years out of date. Tis true folks. I could never understand how they got away with it. Needless to say, I never made a purchase, although some people used to buy lots of items. Strange days indeed!
