Yep, Davey rejected a meeting in early 2010 but held on in later 2010; whereas the Tories gave Vennells a CBE in 2019. A bit of a difference in snubbing and knowledge of the respective governments at those two points.

The CBE is a bauble, an annoyance and I am 1000% embarassed that she got any sort of honour but that's not comparable to shafting 1000s of innocent people rather than own up to dodgy software.

The CBE was rubbing the noses of the SPMs into the excrement. For services to the post office ... given in 2019! It showed where the Government sided even then, and this was made very clear in the TV programme.
