Nigel Farage has predicted that Labour will get elected,at the GE and hold on to power for at least the next ten years. Because the anger at the present Conservative Govt is so widespread.  He also quotes Sunak.. who said "if you vote for anyone other than Tory you will get Labour"Here's the truth says Nigel..."We're going to get Labour anyway"

......I am starting to warm towards Farage.....

You do realise perhaps that Farage hates the Tories probably more than you do. Tories out of power means so he thinks a rebirth of that party in his image. Farage hates Parliament and party politics with all the fervour of a spurned lover.
Just about everyone is predicting a Labour victory. It would be bizarre indeed if NF was any different

Where are the dyed in the wool Tory supporters on this post.?

Running scared...???

Just like Hitler in his bunker when he knew the game was up.

I may join in- but what's the question?

NMA 18,25 My question is.. why are you Cons so terrified of becoming the opposition party...You have been there before.

So ... no question: just the usual yah boo sucks to all of you

Being an anti E U person since it was created I thank N F for his efforts to get us out. Problem for me is that he has remained neither one thing or t'other. He and many others would suggest he is conservative and I think he is. But he's on a good thing as he does not seem inclined to go to the polls himself  and he can find fault with both parties and I M O, that's easy to do at the moment because most of us can't see owt to recommend either of 'em to the electorate. The tories have squandered thier majority . The "small boats invasion" will be thier downfall. Imagine Mrs Thatcher being in charge at the moment. There would be NO problem IMO.  Bu whats happened to the "spell checker" on here. I'm lost without it!!!!

bazwillrun - If you can't provide an answer to the thread you have joined and your comments are no more than digs at the OP, you can expect to find yourself suspended.

Rather unfair, surely: I delivered a very pointed dig at the OP (who in fact never asked a question in the first place). If you go around suspending people for responding in kind then there'll soon be no one left.

//   My question is.. why are you Cons so terrified of becoming the opposition party...You have been there before//

I can't speak for all Cons as I'm someone who's voted for Cons, Labour, New Labour, Libs and SDP at different GEs, but I voted Conservative last time so maybe I'm a Con in your eyes.  I can assure you I'm not terrified of them becoming the opposition; I accept it's a strong possibility and also think it's good for democracy to have a change now and again. The Cons will no doubt regroup

GP. JOE 18,57 Have to agree with you "The Dover Dinghy's" will be the final downfall of this present load of Cons.

Everyone knows Labour won't stop (or even reduce) illegal immigration. How is it even an election issue?

I don't think Labour will get an absolute majority in the HoC. Interesting times.

"I can't speak for all Cons as I'm someone who's voted for Cons, Labour, New Labour, Libs and SDP at different GEs, but I voted Conservative last time so maybe I'm a Con in your eyes"

The OP is not interested in people like you with a sensible opinion: he just wants to wind people up as usual
