OH has taken dog out and I'm supposed to be getting a shower etc so that when he comes back we can get off to town to buy some new cushions and kitchen chairs. And then treat ourselves to a bacon butty and coffee..if that's not a good enough incentive for me to get a move on I don't know what is!

Jess has improved a little thank you - but its a good job we do not have any neighbours as I am following her around the garden in the dark with a torch to see if she poops!

Even less early...
You have reminded me, Red of a rescue dog I had who was ill. The vet said the dog had diabetes and I had to collect a sample of the dog's first wee every morning. The first day I tried it was raining, of course. I had the brolly up, dog on a lead and I was in my dressing gown. The dog wasn't too keen on being shadowed around the garden and less so when every time I bent down to collect the sample - he resolutely put his leg down and carried on walking round. It took ages but eventually I caught the required sample - my victory was brief though. I had gone out with a deep saucer and the wee just pinged on and then off. Gosh, I got wet that day. The following day was successful as I employed an old Ferrero Rocher plastic box!

I don't think any dog would like their owner taking the pee 😀

I got my own back on the dog, Canary. I gave him insulin injections in the skin on the back of his neck every day for the rest of his life, bless him.
