St Columba's Church Quiz - Sun/Son Quiz...

I really enjoyed the first one yesterday.. I do like Stephen Fry so I'd like it no matter what, he is so knowledgeable and can just talk in detail about pretty much any subject or category.
Your thoughts on Jeopardy! after the first one..?
Good to hear what people think, so it's just me (the OP) and FoxLee2 that really enjoyed it. After the second one today we have a new winner to watch and see how he gets on tomorrow.. can he be beaten? I like the speed it moves along so lots more questions, which to me is what it's all about. The Chase has fewer questions and it's harder to take in the questions that are not displayed on screen, plus multiple choice answers make it easier. Jeopardy! is a challenge, surely we watch a quiz show to try and answer the questions, not to get irritated? I am the worlds worst when it comes to adverts, don't get me started.. I simply go and do something else while they are on and get back just in time to continue my enjoyment. I would prefer it was on the BBC with no adverts, but it's not so..
FoxLee2 and me will be looking forward to day 3..! ;O)
zebo 'I've seen it in the States and never understood why it was still around, it's tedious and repetitive, can't believe that Stephen Fry has lowered his sights so much, he can't be on his uppers!'
Stephen Fry said he watches Jeopardy! when he is over in the States and enjoys it very much. On a Times Radio podcast he says "If they take to it it would be a gift to the British people they would be grateful, it's another thing to add to the pleasures of life." It seems to beone of those 'marmite' love it hate it quiz shows.. I have found after two weeks it has become even more of a 'must see' quiz programme, to see if the previous winner can defend their position and keep on beating the new daily challengers.
