I have known for  many years now that there will come a point in this country when we shall be fighting to  preserve our culture and traditions against hard-line Islam.  I  shall now be howled down and called an hysteric.  I am not, nor am I talking about peaceful, integrated communities; but they will not stand against insurgents of their own culture  and religion.

No-one has listened to well-informed warnings.  Pockets exist in our country which are almost unrecognisable as British/English.  In the name of tolerance (which I understand and  favour) we have given away ourselves, our principles and our rules for the common  good.

well how convenient for the pundits that "fighting for the west" seems to involve writing opinion pieces and complaining about universities... one might almost conclude that it is tailor-made to help people who never actually take action about anything feel important

I'm still not sure how we fight this battle now I've been made aware of it. 

I don't want my door being kicked in before someone has told me how that might be prevented.

keyboard warriors are better than no-one. All hot air and white feathers and demanding that others do the things they're too cowardly to do for themselves.

Just how many of our valiant ABers have ever seen a war that wasn't on their wide-screen TV, I wonder?

Me, jno.  I have.

Mr.J2 has, too, jno - he marched up and down before the Iron Curtain defending the West.  Before that he was in London during the V1 & V2 times - although he was evacuated to S. Wales for the Blotzz.  He saw bombs raining down on Swansea harbour and his mum's house was hit by a land-mine at the end of the blitz.

Me - I've taught in Bradford and Halifax over a period of 30 years and I saw the very worrying changes and was in the front line  of those trying to teach different ways - and losing too often.
