Good morning Chip - it is very cold - the birdies are all fed and watered with a few extra treats thrown for them - bacon fat, stale flax and sunflower seeds

I am just going to leave for my voluntary job in Oxfam.  I am feeling queasy this morning, not helped at all by the fact that I live immediately above a branch of Bayne's bakery.

Currently -4 here in a beautifully sunny Essex.  Dog walked and was hoping to catch sight of the flock of Waxwings that have been seen locally but to no avail.

Off to work in a bit, at least it's warm in there [and at no cost to me lol].

Morning.

The big clean up in the house has begun 🙄 So much dust and bits created by the decorating but it's been worth it. New hall carpet has been measured up and chosen, pictures can be rehung, and I can finally put the washing machine on now I can get to it.

And we pick dog up later from our lovely dog minder, I don't think he'll want to come home as he sleeps on her bed, he's not even allowed upstairs here!

oooh Vagus - how can you not let your poor pooch sleep in your bed!

We tried it once, on a bonfire night with all the noise but to be honest the noise didn't bother him, he just wriggled and shuffled on our bed and eventually hopped off, thankfully. I don't think any of us would have got any sleep if he'd have stayed.

On theory, I'd quite like him snuggled up with us, but in practice it just wouldn't work.

I leave our door open and colin sleeps in a bed on the floor and jess prefers to sleep right outside the door so she can see if we move

Thanks all, providing some fresh unfrozen water could be a ongoing problem in many arias but still important nonetheless.

I've just cut up some apples to help keep them happy and sustained.

Dog has slept in his crate from the first night we got him, and loves it. I think he feels it's his safe space, of course the couple of doggie treats he gets as he goes in help 😊

I think being on  loodthinners has made the difference Vabus, but it's so uncomfortable wearing warm stuff in bed.  My legs and feet are still free though!

Morning everyone! Freezing here too - was -4 when I got up, frost still everywhere now. Lots of jobs to do today and need to pop out later - will wrap up well! Hope you all stay safe today and hope you feel better later on Wolf x
