You know you shouldn't laugh but you just can't help it.Got into my car yesterday on a carpark and thought I would just have a snack before driving off. Walking to her car was a woman who had got to be in her mid 70s. She had bright pink hair, when I say bright pink it really was bright. It looked like she had a fairground candyfloss stuck on her head. What drives someone that age to look like this. I've seen young girls have their hair done like this but eh, they are young kids. This woman looked nuts. :0))))

Straying off the thread a little, the police women also seem to be setting their own hair fashion. Blond with poney tail?? The makup on some of them looks like the local builder has trowled it on. : 0)

Nicebloke - With reference to tour comment about my choice if jeans and shoes being a 'comfort' option  - anyone who wears Doc Martens knows well that between purchase and fifteen to twenty years of style and comfort, lies a painful 'breaking in' period which has to be borne with fortitude. 

Similarly, Levi's with button flies involve a similar adjustment period when fastening and unfastening involves several weeks of painful finger ends ,and damaged nails if they are of any length 

Basically, you have to be willing to suffer to plough that fashion icon furrow!!
