Teeth - pain
4 Answers
I have lost my filling/some of it this morning.
Is there anything I can take until I get to the dentist as they cannot see me straight away?
I just know that at dinner time its gonna be sooo sharp/sensitive

I always bring it on holiday as other half has a crown and wouldn't want that to spoil our holiday. It's only arounf a fiver and it's well worth it. There'll be some paste in there that you can shove in the cavity as a temporary filling which will harden after 1/2 hr or so
happy_face has the the best idea but do be careful with the product.
I wouldn't use oil of cloves simply because it doesn't work.
For anyone claiming that it does (especially boots!!) then let me know its mechanism of action or even a theoretical one. I ask this because if it was possible to alleviate pain through its topical application then it would do away with the need for dental anesthesia.
i don't know about you I'd be pretty scared if a dentist wanted to fill or remove my tooth after merely dabbing a bit of clove oil on it.
It works by the placebo effect nothing more.
