Good Chris. I've never had any "hate" for Tractor Boys - not in the way my present local team [Pompey} and Saints fans have between the clubs (that of course is partly political owing to strike breaking incidents many years ago), in fact I used to enjoy watching Ipswich in the early Sixties, they had a couple of big strikers, Phillips was one, can't recall other one's name, but they could be a formidable combination at times. I don't think they were called the Tractor Boys in those days though I may be wrong.

I used to live in Sheffield.  Despite their intense rivalry, Blades fans and Owls fans generally had plenty of respect for each other.  That was possibly because of the fact that they loathed Leeds with equal intensity!
