Why is this investigation happening now, when Rayner sold her house in 2015?  Has new information come to light?  Or was Lord Ashcroft busy doing something else in 2015, like publishing "Call Me Dave: The unauthorised biography of David Cameron", a book criticised unsurprisingly for lack of evidence (including the infamous "pig-gate" incident). Of course, "Dave" is now another Tory Lord, Lord Cameron, our Foreign Secretary.  We're all in it together, aren't we ... except perhaps non-domiciled Lord Ashcroft of Belize, un agent provocateur par excellence.
