Do You Want To Live Forever?

Reading two ABers from two different branches of Christianity telling each other they're on the wrong path to salvation illustrates to me the futility of it all.  Literally thousands of different religious philosophies all claiming to be right and all offering one tantilising attraction - escape from death.  So, should you happen to latch on to the right religion (and you won't know if it's right until the time comes) would you want to live forever or are you content to accept the inevitable - that every living thing dies eventually?

are you talking about your generation dave?

Who sang that Dave?

PsalmEquipt - Hopefully you will learn the lesson that your fellow fervents have failed to understand over decades posting  on here -

Quoting yards of biblical text is no substitute for a convincing argument, and it continues to cut zero ice with anyone on here, with the exception of a fellow fervent who may wish to tediously argue the semantics of ancient scripts with you.

They certainly did 😁

I'll take an educated guess and say that PsalmEquipt's answer to the question is 'yes'.  Whether or not he has a different fail safe plan from the others I mentioned I can't say - but given that there are thousands of Christian denominations, it's a distinct possibility.

Everybody will exist forever, whether you want to or not. The Bible says there are two possible destinations.Choose the right one.

^A perfect example of an arm up a back.  Too afraid not to comply.

I watch loads of dead people on TV - being in movies is a way of living for ever as the human race might consider it.

As far as anything else goes if we survive that long humans will be burnt to a crisp millions of years before the sun consumes the earth.

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust.

The, be good or we'll torture you,  argument. Never come across evidence of that conjecture. I feel sure it's just a control ploy from ancient times.

I wouldn't want to live forever, the though horrifies me.
