Cant Find A Series I Started To Watch

I got one episode now I cant find any more.

A female detective got stabbed by her son who was put into a mental home. She is assigned to a new station and people start to die seemingly to stop the contents of a memory stick being published. It seems that the stick has info saying the sun will explode or flare in 5 years destroying the earth. can anyone help
