I personally don't understand how anyone could support him.

And here it is fact-checked: https:/
The jury was clearly guided by a biased judge throughout; the judge himself was democrat-leaning, in most states it wouldnt have even come to trial. Just because the trial had a jury doesn't mean the verdict was right, and there will be an appeal. He ain't no Mandela, but he was convicted in a trial by jury. So what? But either way, he could be quite easily locked up. That doesnt mean he won't become President. Put him and the current idiot to thr voters and let them decide.
I didnt say Trump was innocent. But there was no need to bring this to trial in the first place. Not only years since the allegations; Cohen was blatantly profiteering and lying; Daniels was vindictive and her testimony changed every five minutes, the judge was democrat. As I said, this wouldnt have come to court in most states. The whole thing was politically motivated. The conviction isnt exactly the point, its the fact that persons who have a political grievance against Trump use the justice system against him. But it's par for the course under the Biden administration and will only serve to build up Trump's base come November. Conviction or not, jail time or not, he is still preferable to many Americans to the current incumbent.
After numerous frivilous attempts by Trump et al they're still trying to steal the election. Which witch is which?

The real bad people in the whole sorry mess are not his supporters in the public, but his enablers.
The Republican politicians that are well aware of what he is, and in most cases despise him, but are too gutless and self serving to say so.
They've loads of chances to consign him to history, but they haven't done it. He's destroyed their party and turned it into a moronic cult.
This moment is a hinge point for the United States, there is no question about it. The success or failure of the Trump 2024 campaign could redefine American politics or allow this type of lawfare utter vindication, proving that if you shop for the right jurisdiction with the right partisan judge, you can get anyone convicted, even a former president. It is an astounding moment, not far removed from the politics of Putin's Russia.
