I want to buy a new laptop and have found a potential bargain - an ACER ASPIRE 5044WLMI at Comet for �399.99 - however my local Comet have sold out and can't give me a date for restocking - however I can order one on line if I am prepared to pay �17.95 Delivery charge - what a CON....

I have just ordered an Aspire 5003WMLi from acernotebooks - they appear identical to the 5044
They are an absolute cracker - 512Mb RAM, 80Gb HDD, DVDRW, Wireless(b & g) and the screen is stunningly bright
Puts my creaking desktop to shame - almost !!!
