...reached some sort of accommodation with the Nazis?

We might have held on to our empire while the Nazis and the reds engaged in a struggle that would have weakened them both.

Gribbin said it in 2022 and yet is still a candidate in this 2024 general election ...  "Reform" 😂

Running scared Ellipsis?

"Sorry, but this ISN'T News, Editor."

It is. It is a quote attributed to a candidate in the forthcoming General Election.

> Running scared Ellipsis?

Nope.

Appeasing a mad dog on the forlorn hope that it won't bite you, ends only one way.

If this gentleman seriously thinks otherwise, as opposed to simply creating headlines, he is not fit to own a stapler, much less pretend to be a politician.

I suppose if you're going to run a candidate in nearly every constituency you'll have to be scraping near the bottom of the barrel to find some.

The sort of thing we're used to hearing from Labour candidates is of course "Chairman Mao did more good than harm"; yes, the genuis Diane Abbott.

Is your favourite party without any problems?

It's a point of view and if you Google it (I just did out of interest) its a quite popular topic. Now I dont agree with that point of view but if it doesnt affect his/her day to day functioning is it a problem?

Perhaps we should ban all Catholics or Baptists because we dont agree with their view?

And yes Sandy, to a degree a new Party will struggle.  Even the main Party's cant control it, just look at the recent Green shouting Alluh Akbar.

youngmafbog,

What's my favourite party?

@13.06.SinnFein/IRA?

Question Author

Close, but no cigar.

It's Sinn Fein.

Thats what i said-SinnFein/IRA.

Sinn Fein?!  So you'd support Mary Lou McDonald, who  spoke at a rally in Dublin to commemorate Seán Russell, an IRA leader who had actively collaborated with Nazi Germany, offered the Nazis the IRA's support during WWII , and met with Joachim von Ribbentrop?  Nice.

They all have problems, because what sane person wants to be in politics?  And if Diane Abbott and Labour can be mercilessly ridiculed, then so can Ian Gribbin and Reform ...
