Sleep is such a luxury for some people these days. I can be awake to early hours of the morning 4/5am, then I will go into a deep sleep till very late morning sometimes later...

Why is it you can't wake up on a workday, but wake early on a day off?

My mind/body seems to love sleep from the early evening onwards. But at various points in the night it likes to decide it's had enough and wants a break. It was never like that when I was younger.

I can sleep literally anywhere. With the noon sun shining in my eyes, a rock band playing, on solid ground,  anywhere.

The ultimate test is sleeping in a toilet cubicle.

Bright light, hard surfaces, nothing comfortable to lean on, and if you relax, you start to slide.

I can will myself to sleep anywhere I want, which has proved very useful at various times.

I love sleep too. If I had my way I would sleep all day. I've been known to sleep until 11a.m. & only then I've gotten up reluctantly 😴😴

I have always been a poor sleeper, I genuinely envy people who can fall asleep shortly after going to bed and stay asleep until the alarm clock.

I love going to bed to read. I delay turning my light off until I'm very sleepy. I can't just nod off, except in my armchair in the afternoon.
My cat loves to cuddle up in the night with me which is quite annoying, as she wakes me up but that's her and I have to put up with it.
