I reckon an air lock is most likely.

Not enough info, fruits.

Is it an electric shower?

Or a combi boiler and a thermostatic shower?

Or a conventional boiler with a roof tank; airing cupboard; and immersion cylinder?

Question Author

It's suddenly stopped, it's a thermostat mixer tap, with a tank in the airing cuboard, its not an electric shower, no combination boiler
