White Mold On House Plant

I have a lime mint plant that's covered in white mold as it the soil it's in

i have only watered from the bottom!  Should I replant or is there something I can use on it

I would also doublecheck it's not mealybug as that can look similar but is dificult and different to treat than mould. If you smear some of the white stuff between your fingers and it goes pink or dicoloured it's more likely to be a mealybug infestation and you've squished them (a tiny insect).

Oh god do I hate mealies! A home solution is diluted isopropyl alcohol  sprayed on the plant.

If it's mould it may be due to the soil not drying out sufficiently.

No it's definitely mold.  I'm trying to spray with one party cider vinegar on the plant and the soil surface as that's covered too

White mould is a common problem with houseplants, possibly caused by over watering and high humidity, I would repot the plant, after carefully scraping the mould off the surface of the compost.

If you can improve the airflow, this may also help.  Ceiling fans may also be of bennifit to keep the air movement.
