Morning my dear friend. I had my first appointment with the solicitor yesterday. I arrived 30 seconds before 10:00 - I do like to be punctual. He had just returned from holiday and was late. We had made the arrangement by phone and he had not recorded it properly. He was apologetic throughout the meeting. 

I am not one for the heat, Vagus so I came home and stayed indoors. It should be hotter still today so there will be more of the same, the paperwork is quite relentless still.

At the beginning of the week I did speak to the Undertaker and everything is on track.

The paperwork will get finished eventually even though it possibly feels like an unclimbable mountain at the moment. I've never personally dealt with all that stuff but OH has been an executor for four family members so I have a little insight.

The heat is so draining at the mo isn't it? I know we shouldn't complain after all the rain we've had but the older I get the less I can tolerate heat. Me and dog have just come into our relatively cool living room after managing half an hour in the shade in the garden. He's not been walked today, far too hot for him 🐕‍🦺

Ive been thinking about you every day, and will be thinking about you particularly tomorrow. I'm not sure which is worse for a funeral...dismal rain or brilliant sunshine, makes no difference really I suppose, the day just has to be got through. And get through it you will 😘❤️
