Hi everyone. I wonder if anyone can tell me why when we empty our bath, the bottom of our garden floods. Thank you.

Is there a manhole in the flooded area?
It could be bunged up.
Do you have a septic tank?

Hi The Builder - there is no manhole there. I don't know if we have a septic tank - but I will ask my husband when he gets home. Thank you.

We had something similar happen where our shower would drain, and the side yard would suddenly turn into a swamp. Turned out the old drainpipe had cracked underground and was letting all the water leak out before it even hit the main sewer line. If it's something like that, you might want to check out West Ashley emergency plumber https://www.plumbprosc.com/emergency-plumbing-services-in-west-ashley/ ; —they helped us out when we were in a bind and got things sorted pretty quickly. Could save you from an even bigger mess down the road.
