Britains Most Successful Prime Minister.
Tony Blair says Brexit has failed, and ended up with mass immigration instead of the promise to take back control .The UK has swapped younger single people coming in from the EU to work in hospitality, technology NHS and other sectors for much increased immigration from Asia and Africa. "We have weakened ourselves" in the in the UK as a result of Brexit says Sir Tony...Spot on I agree with what he says.

you're the one who started on me naomi.
regarding the thread...
i do not think it is healthy to worship politicians... creatures like blair least of all. the iraq war alone counterbalances all of his achievements for me. it was an evil thing to facilitate and was a shameful and wicked thing for the UK to get involved with.
Blair was successful because voters were fed up with previous Tory givernment but still wanted Tory-lite. This time around they didn't have the same choice since they still tend to select one of their traditional two parties. Instead of taking a chance elsewhere, traditional Tory voters opted to either stay away or to vote for parties never likely to win the most votes, while traditional Labour voters returned home to find they had voted in Labour far left/control freaks. Maybe the public will have had time to reconsider their choices before the next GE.
This is another example of why Blair ought not be given the air of publicity, or even taken seriously. Once again he has it all wrong.
1. Brexit hasn't failed.
2. We didn't end up with mass immigration instead of anything. We already had that due to past PMs, UK governments without the guts/desire to do what was needed, and those who deliberately created hurdles to the little that was tried.
3. UK hasn't swopped anything. It's made limited attempts to reduce immigration but the government has yet to find a formula that they're willing to try and that others won't delay or prevent.
4. There is no weakness due to Brexit.
On top of which the new incoming government has made it clear it is determined to increase the number of both legal and illegal immigrants and to bring the UK under the control of the EU without being an official member.
No surprise some claim to agree with him though. They must be as bad as he is.
