Good news it appears. No link I'm afraid, I heard this on BBC news this morning, the lowest its ever been. Could this be due to labour settling the strikes, either way very good news.

A new Broom Sweeps clean ...Well done Labour. The NHS is safe in your hands. Now that the greedy Tories have had their nose displaced before they could Privatise it.

A new Broom Sweeps clean ...Well done Labour. The NHS is safe in your hands. Now that the greedy Tories have had their nose displaced before they could Privatise it.

Before the election Keir Starmer was adamant that he wouldn't use the private sector for his own family.  What's he going to do if they're on a waiting list.  Say no?  Hypocrite.

The last two operations I had, under the Tory's were in private hospitals, with free taxis both ways.

My neighbour had the same experience, albeit a different private hospital.

The NHS has been using private hospitals for years.

They have, barry, but if this is the reason waiting times are falling and they're taking the credit for it, they're hypocrites.

Maybe they died waiting for treatment. Layboor   ...  no living assistance for the elderly but keen to provide assisted dying.

Agreed

Yes barry my 2 brothers both had knee ops in private hospitals, so progress is being made. Good that SK will use private, will leave more space for others. All good news all round. BA to gully.

Is it really best use of NHS funds?

11.48 Yes very happy, getting people sorted and out of pain in many cases, what can possible be so wrong with that?

I don't give a flying fig as to why the waiting  lists are coming down .

If it's coming down and folk are being treated ,then that is good news for all waiting for treatment etc

12.16. Sometimes you have no option, regardless of cost when it comes to peoples health and well being.

//Good that SK will use private//

But he won't.  He said he won't.

Is this Labour who are fronted by the man who (allegedly) facilitated a new life and a new identity for a genocidal war criminal from Rwanda who happens to be the father of the murderous filth who stabbed 3 children to death in Southport?

No I can't post a link - there's a super injunction you know...

We may just find out one of these days that all roads lead back to Starmer.

And no, waiting lists have not yet fallen by any measurable amount. My BFF works in the NHS and she's had the heads-up that the Anaesthetists will be pulling their usual tricks throughout the whole month of December in retaliation for the surgeons' decision to not do any weekend extra-paid lists to try and combat the Anaesthetists' behaviour of always turning up for extra-paid weekend lists but not turning up for the weekday lists resulting in patients having to be cancelled again and again.

NB //dont under estimate SK. //

It's extremely difficult to do that!🤣

Question Author

It would be interesting to know what % of people on the waiting list are there because they've failed to look after their basic health requirments, and have helped bog down the NHS through their own doing. Yet the NHS are still expected to perform a miracle with these massive numbers.

yeah - some of us even have the audacity to get old & need treatment for age-related aliments. Damn savages...

^^ You mean like me, and my mum, soon to be 104.

If your hell bent on growing and processing doom and gloom on a daily basis then more health issues may crop up.

Mr Nicebloke thanks for giving me Best Answer just for telling the truth....🤣cheers.

nicebloke.  If you believe that Starmer & co have managed to bring the waiting list down in 3 months, then you ar even more delusioned that I thought you were.
