Just saying

Some are still around on facebook, just gave up the battle here, others had more important things going on in their lives, some died, some left under a cloud of course. But that is life, nobody walks your path with you from A to Z, paths overlap, run side by side for a while.Enjoy them while you know them, you never know when is the last time.
Too many to mention, aside from those that have passed away, I shared banter with a few Ummm, B00, Bobbisox, Excelcior, TiggerBlue I contact sometimes on FB far too many off the top of my head but really don't know what happenend to them, fed up or what.
I are aware of some popular poster's that have passed away when I read old posts I rememeber them fondly.... Mostly.
After nearly 20 years on this site, my list of people here could get rather lengthy, I feel!
However, off the top of my head . . .
I miss Sherrardk (later Lewisk) and Mimifi for the wonderful descriptions they gave us of their familes.
I miss Mamyalynne for being one of the few people to recognise the quality of music that's not from the UK or the USA.
I miss Woodelf for his wonderful sense of humour (and for the literary masterpieces that he sent me within his emails).
I miss Waterboatman and Emmie for running the GMEB threads for many years.
I miss Clanad, as he was the first person to respond to my very first post on the site and he continued to contribute a great deal thereafter.
I miss Mrs Overall for her sense of fun.
I miss Gness for allowing me to flirt with her.
I miss Mikey4444 for comparing tips on the best value wines in Lidl.
I miss ChuckFickens for his technical expertise (and for his ability to take a joke).
I miss Jemisa for her extremely corny jokes.
Those are just a (very) few of the names which come to mind!
Take a look here for loads more names from the past!

I remember many abers with great fondness especially those who were regulars in the Religion & Spiritualty section where I 'lived' in days gone by. In between all the serious stuff when those towering intellects were at their very best, we had great fun - our raucous, booze-laden parties taking place aboard Noah's Ark - me in charge of the key to the wine cellar and George Clooney my preferred escort - not that he was ever an ABer - as far as I'm aware. I read Chatterbank and sometimes contributed and vividly recall the wonderful Mrs O and her hilarious village tales - my part on one glorious occasion requiring me to bash our resident Jehovah's Witness vigorously across the head with a copy of his religious magazine, The Watchtower. Happy days.
